2021: Of New Beginnings

Well I thought I would be back on here sooner, but of course what they don’t tell you is how time consuming planning a wedding is especially in the middle of a pandemic where the rules for what is or isn’t allowed change about every few weeks.

Thankfully said nuptials did occur and in September of this year I tied the knot with my now husband Chris Barfitt. I’m still getting used to that seeing as it’s only been a few months.

Getting married also brought about a lot of changes and added responsibilities that I’m still learning to juggle while also finding time to be an author in addition to working full time. It’s all taken a toll on the speed of my writing sadly and I can only hope those of you waiting for book 4 of Q-16 will forgive me for the bump in the road. I am more than half way done with the first draft and I hope that 2022 will be when I finish and quite possibly also publish said work. A title will be revealed in February when I will be further along in the writing process.

I’ve been a bit silent on the convention circuit this year due to some issues with my health and not having been able to get vaccinated earlier because of them. They’ve been since resolved and I hope next year to be able to meet with you all again in person.

I’ve not much else to add here this year. I hope to make more use of this blog in the next year with exciting updates and new releases.

In the meantime as always, stay safe, have an incredible New Years Eve and most importantly, keep it awesome!
